Experience
I scored a 1880 on my SAT. I also ran two SAT prep/college prep programs in Revere, Ma. and Brockton, Ma. Part of my responsibilities was working one on one with students who needed extra help. Through the job, I gained experience tutoring students in math and english, as well as standardized testing in general. I also spent two semesters working as a teaching assistant for a freshmen general religion class. Through this experience I gained the ability to give students constructive criticism on their writing. Through my experiences I helped co-author an article with my professor on the importance of undergraduate teaching assistants in the classroom. In the fall I will join City on a Hill Charter School as a member of their tutoring team. It is a paid year of service. I am looking to work over the summer and am free almost all of the time. I was also captain of the Stonehill track team for four seasons. I ran sprints and hurdles.

I have been running track since middle school and plan to continue running in Boston for a club team. I'm very laid-back and easy going, qualities that I find are helpful in tutoring. I am also very driven and do not give up on a subject or goal easily.
